In June 2013, the government representatives of the US, France, England, Italy, Japan, Canada, Germany and Russia as well as representatives of the EU meet for their yearly imperialist conference of the “Great 8”. As this year's host country, England has chosen Northern Ireland as venue, which is military occupied for decades by them. Thus the English monopoly bourgeoisie presents the imperialist character of this summit to the whole world. As long as the contradictions among the monopoly capitals and the countries and governments representing them are still not that escalated that a new imperialist re-sharing war is on the agenda, they are using this kind of meetings for the continuing struggle for re-sharing the world according to their interests. So the government representatives of the respective monopoly are coming together in these meetings in order to push through their own interests against the other imperialist powers, to make tactical alliances and agreements and to satisfy the needs of the international monopolies.

This year, the topics of just taxes, trade agreements between the imperialist blocks USA-EU and access, protection and extraction of raw material are officially at the forefront. Different strategies of the imperialist strategies in the Middle East and the imperialist influences in Africa will be other big topics. We can see not least from the indirect; the deputy wars which are carried out in an increasingly open way like now in the war at Syria or in the war at the Korean peninsula that the contradictions among the big imperialist powers are escalating more and more.

The imperialist powers are using institutions like G8, IMF, WB, NATO and EU in order to pool their forces and to safeguard and enlarge their economic, political and military hegemony and power over states and people dependent on them. Since the last capitalist overproduction crisis, the imperialists are using these tools in addition in order to push through the programs of neo-liberalization with special aggression in the countries dependent from and oppressed by them and to ensure large profit for the monopoly bourgeoisie of their country and to break into new markets.

A broad and determinant resistance is developing against the programs of neo-liberalization and the attacks more and more open and hard of the imperialist bourgeoisie and the collaborating bourgeoisie in the dependent countries against the working class, the labouring masses and oppressed peoples. In Tunis, Cairo, Istanbul, Madrid, Frankfort and London millions are taking to the streets against imperialist aggression, capitalist exploitation militantly campaigning for their rights and against the dictatorship of the capital.

It is necessary to unite these struggles of the workers, the youth, the women, the retired and unemployed in the oppressed and dependent countries and the imperialist centres in regional and international joint anti-imperialist fronts of struggle. Let us learn from the struggles and actions against the G8 summits in Seattle and Heiligendamm and the NATO summits in Istanbul and Strasbourg as well as from the struggles against the attacks at democratic rights and the livelihood of the labouring masses in the single countries as well as from national freedom struggles. All the progressive, antifascist, anti-imperialist, revolutionary and communist forces are faced with the current task to join these struggles and to extend them.

Our party MLCP considers it as its revolutionary responsibility and sets itself the task to revolutionize the international mass movement against the rule of the imperialist monopoly bourgeoisie, its aggressions and exploitation and intervenes according to this aim. The struggle against the impacts of the capitalist system has to be turned into a determinant and unconditional struggle against the overthrow of the capitalist system itself by the revolutionary and communist parties and organisations. This is, at the same time, the decisive struggle for overcoming reformism and pacifism which is still widespread.

In order to achieve victory against the monopoly bourgeoisie which is broadly branched and internationally linked through the imperialist globalisation, we reaffirm our call upon the anti-imperialist, revolutionary and communist forces to join regional and international anti-imperialist and revolutionary platforms and initiatives and to start new initiatives in order to organise a successful international struggle.

We have to take the only alternative of the capitalist system, which is socialism to the working class, the oppressed peoples and the existing mass movement and consequently fight for it.

Let us fight in the spirit of proletarian internationalism against imperialist summits of the international capital no matter where their dig themselves, let us fight against imperialism and capitalist barbarity.

Down with imperialist raids and their oppression!

Long live the united struggle of the worker and oppressed peoples!

Down with capitalism, long live socialism!
