In Istanbul, Gazi approximately 6000 people joint a festival with music and speeches organised by the Socialist Party of the Oppressed under the name "Let us grow the hope - Unity, Struggle, Victory". {divide}The activity started with a march headed by a banner saying "From Maras to Corum , from Gazi to Sivas up to Uludere do not forget the massacres. We want justice."
Next to several relatives of martyrs of revolution and socialism, several representatives of progressive organisations like Pir Sultan Abdal Cultural Association, HDK , Egitim Sen, BDP and EMEP participated in the celebration of September 10. Furthermore, the prisoners of the MLCP sent a message celebrating the 18th anniversary of the unity of communists.
Militias of the MLCP hung up a banner writing "Long live revolution, long live socialism and militias of the Communist Youth Organisation another one writing "on the traces of Yasemin Ciftci forward to revolution and socialism" at the square where the activity took place. They shouted also slogans like "long live our party MLKP", M-L-K-P", "Long live MLCP for the victory of revolution" and "MLCP is hope, hope is standing upright".
