The militants of our party MLCP announced responsibility for 3 bomb attacks carried out on April 29 and 30 in Istanbul by a statement saying: "We, the fighters of the MLCP carried out bomb actions against three posts of the enemy." The targets were the Police Department of Preventive Bureau Services in Sultangazi, Esentepe, Istanbul regional directorate of the Ministry of Labour and Social Security located in Unkapani and the construction area of the company Marmara Park AVM located in the district Esenyurt. The reasons for choosing these targets were the following: the police because of being the force of the fascist state applying torture and the terror of detention and imprisonment, the Marmara Park AVM constructed by a company close to AKP -Gulen capital because of having caused the death of 11 workers who were burnt them alive at the construction area due to lack of safety measures, and finally the ministry of labour and social security because of being responsible for countless so-called "labour accidents" all over the country as part of the anti-worker AKP government.
Furthermore, our party MLCP stated that it warns the governor of Istanbul, who made statements of threat before the Mayday rally at the Taksim Squre and said that those who would attack the revolutionary, antifascist forces, our comrades and comrades-in-arms would pay a high price in case of any attack.
The three actions were dedicated to all the mayday-martyrs in the name of comrade Hacer Ipek, who became a martyr on mayday 1977 and comrade Hasan Albayrak, who became a martyr on mayday 1996.
The statement ended with the following words: "We, the fighters of MLCP will not forgive and not forget the cruelties committed against the working class, the labourers and our peoples; no matter how much time will pass. We will ask account from the fascist state for its massacres. We will continue the way our comrade Yasemin Ciftci has shown us in the war against the enemy and to carry the worthy flag which she passed on to us."
