Racist attack against Kurdish workers in Kutahya

In Emet district of the province Kutahya, hundreds of people raided the construction area of a highschool and attacked the Kurdish workers on March 13. The racists burnt down the tents, the clothes and other belongings of the workers and shouted out anti-Kurdish slogans.
The lynching attempt started after a quarrel between 2 Kurdish workers and two young persons insulting them for being Kurdish. The group accused the workers with commitment to PKK and the quarrel turned into a fight. After the fight, hundreds of racist gathered for the raid.{divide}
The Kurdish workers escaped to a building belonging to the provincial administration. Even the governor Kenan Ciftci who went to the place and tried to make a reconciliation speech was attacked with stones. The racist group left the place only after the intervention of the gendarmerie forces.
