Giving a meaningful example of revolutionary solidarity, the prisoners of the TKP /ML trials declared that they will start an indefinite rotative hunger strike in support of the hunger strike action going on by the PKK and PJAK prisoners and that their first group will start with the action on March 8. They expressed that they support the struggle developed by the national Kurdish freedom movement and the Kurdish people inside and outside the prisons and will defend their legitimate demands.
At the same time, different acts of solidarity acts are organised outside the prisons, like the two-days solidarity hunger strikes organised in Amed and in Malatya by the ESP . Moreover, on March 8 a delegation of chair-persons of the SDP , ODP , ESP, EHP , EMEP and the TKP visited the Kurdish women prisoners in the Diyarbakir E Type prison.
Also in Europe, an indefinite hunger strike without rotation of 15 persons goes on since March 1 in Strasbourg. The hunger strikers, who are only taking water with lemon, salt and sugar and whose health conditions are getting worse according to the doctor accompanying the action, are frequently organising different actions like sit-ins from 13-15 March in front of the European parliament.
