Memorial acts for comrade Yasemin Ciftci in Europe

On February 15, the militia of our youth organization KGO put up a banner in the city centre of Essen, Germany commemorating our young comrade Yasemin Ciftci saying "Yasemin Ciftci will live in our struggle". One day later, they put up a banner in Paris, France at the Montreuil highway bridge saying "Yasemin Ciftci is immortal". In London, the communist youth made wall writings in the districts Stoke Newington, Edmonton and Tottenham saying "Yasemin Ciftci lives in our struggle" and stickers saying "Comrade Yasemin is immortal" signed by the KGO Europe Committee.
Furthermore, the KGO militias organised a march on February 16 carrying a banner saying "Comrade Yasemin is living in our struggle" in the city of Duisburg, Germany.
The KGO militias wrote several slogans in memorial of comrade Yasemin Ciftci along the footpath next to the Danube canal in Vienna, Austria.
The young communists also saluted the celebration of the First Europe Conference of the KGO, which was hold in January 2012, during these activities.
In addition to the actions of the communist youth, two memorial acts were organised in London and Paris. In London, slogans like "Comrade Yasemin is alive, the MLCP is fighting" and "The revolutionary martyrs are immortal" were shouted, poems read out and talking about her revolutionary life the call "to keep her alive means to take up the flag from where she left it" was made.
In Paris, the memorial act, in which about 70 people, among them comrades-in-arms of the MKP , TKP/ML and TIKB , participated, started with a minute of silence in the room decorated with flowers, candles and a banner saying "Comrade Yasemin is alive, the MLCP is fighting". A representative of our party MLCP talked about the life of Yasemin Ciftci, who became immortal when a bomb she was carrying exploded during the preparation process of a revolutionary action. In the speech it was underlined, that Yasemin Ciftci joined the struggle for revolution and socialism already when she was still at school and that she dedicated every moment of her short life to this struggle. Furthermore, it was said "comrade Yasemin is the determination of the struggle of our party and the Zilan of the party. Despite her heart disease, she took her place in the struggle with self-sacrifice and tenacity, she assumed responsibility. She was acting in the consciousness of the struggle for women´s emancipation." Also other participants of the memorial act, who knew comrade Yasemin personally, shared their experiences saying "comrade Yasemin was longing for the united revolution and fighting for it and for socialism and she became immortal advancing on this road." It was also expressed, that she was running from action to action without getting tired, embracing the struggle with an unending energy and her smiling face.
In addition to the presentation of a slight show, leaflets published after the martyrdom of comrade Yasemin Ciftci by the MLCP Central Committee, the MLCP Women Committee Europe and the HPG Headquarters were read out.
The Long March for freedom of the PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan and the political prisoners in Turkey - which started on January 31 in Geneva and ended on February 18 in Strasbourg - dedicated the part of the action on February 11 to our comrade Yasemin Ciftci and 4 guerilla fighters, who became martyrs in Cele. A memorial act was organized for the 5 martyrs during the march.
