Tens of thousands of people gathered at Kazlicesme Square in Istanbul at the rally organised by BDP on November 20. The rally was realised under the slogan "Do not touch my will" regarding that more than 4 thousand prisoners who were arrested for being members of KCK are the representatives of the Kurdish people. {divide}
The organisations taking part in the newly formed People's Democratic Congress were the main participants of the rally while many other democratic and revolutionary organisations gave support to the rally. Among the participants of the rally were several MPs from BDP.
Co-president of BDP Selahattin Demirtas made the main speech of the rally where he exposed the repressive policies of AKP .
Demirtas told that this rally is a message to those who claim to have broken the will of the Kurdish people. He mentioned the situation of the KCK prisoners who were put in prison on the basis of fake evidences. He stressed that the aim of this wave of attacks is to hinder the Kurdish people, the Allevites, the workers and the other oppressed sectors from raising their voice against the state.
The rally continued with the music concerts of several Kurdish musicians.
