MLCP, which fights as vanguard force of the proletariat of Turkey and Northern Kurdistan against the imperialist-capitalist system, has always been on the target of the attacks of the fascist dictatorship. It has always accepted heavy costs in the fight for revolution and socialism and carried further the class struggle under hard conditions. In this merciless fight, it has lost some of its most prominent leaders, cadres and activists. MLCP has taken the conscious and determined stance and qualities of its martyrs in the fight as an example and keeps them alive in its struggle.

MLCP has determined the month of November as the month to remember the martyrs. Throughout November, it organises activities to let cadres and activists learn from them and to take their stance in the political, organisational and ideological struggle as example.

November was determined because our comrade Erdal Balci became the first martyr of the party in November 1994 when he was hanging a banner announcing the foundation of the party on to a bridge. Each predecessor group of the MLCP have given tens of martyrs. The tradition of resistance, which started with Mahir, Deniz and 8Bbrahim, has continued with Adil Can, 8Brfan C7elik, MFCnir DA6BEkaya, Hayrabet Honca, Ali Ekber BahadA6r and HFCseyin Toraman.

Starting with comrade Erdal Balc9B, the immortals were joined by the Central Committee Member HFCseyin Demircio80lu, who faced death in the front line of struggle and gave the slogan of "I have to be in the front line" as a present to the history of our party, Hasan Ocak, SFCleyman Yeter, Ali

Haydar GF6E7er, Tuncay YA6ldA6rA6m, BDengFCl Boran, Ali Karahan, Zeynel YeBEil, Erkut DirekE7i, Abuzer C7at, D6zgFCr Evrim GF6E7en, Aynur Karaman, Hasan Albayrak, HFCseyin KayacA6, Erol Ispir after the foundation of the MLCP.

Due to its internationalist character and struggle, MLCP commemorates all the martyrs of the revolution and socialism. Beginning with the classics of Marxism-Leninism, Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin, it commemorates Mustafa Suphi , Ethem Nejat and the other 13 leaders of TKP (Communist Party of Turkey), communist leaders Dimitrov, Ernst Thalman, Enver Hoxca, Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht and also the martyrs of other revolutionary organisations.

The importance the commemoration of our martyrs has for us, above all, lies in the fact that they have dedicated their lives in the cause of revolution, the fight for socialism, for communism and became immortal. Remembering our martyrs with regard and love is possible by continuing uninterruptedly in the cause of revolution and socialism, for which they have given their lives, by acquiring their communist qualities and by learning from them. Commemoration of our martyrs can be done by carrying their consciousness and determinacy and their readiness to make sacrifices in our fight to the workers, toilers and young generations. Commemoration of our martyrs can be done by taking our Marxist-Leninist ideology and programmatic views, those created with their labour, to the workers and toilers, and organise them in the ranks of the party. Commemoration and knowing our martyrs can be done by learning everything about their lives and struggles, by collecting their best qualities in our personality and by becoming a new human, a communist who dedicates his/her life completely to the revolution and socialism.

During the month of remembering our martyrs, MLCP organises diverse political activities such as commemoration events at the graves and visits of the families of the martyrs, meetings and panel discussions.

MLCP has took the vow to hold the Red Flag delivered to us by the martyrs even higher and to definitely realize revolution and socialism in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan.

Martyrs are living, MLCP is fighting!

We took revenge and we will take revenge for our martyrs!

You are always with us, we are always with you!

For the victory of revolution, long live MLCP!
