In new epoch, the revolutionary parties and organisations in Anatolia and Mesopotamia geography and the Kurdish freedom movement, who would add the strength of the people of the Middle East to their power, have the conditions, grounds and opportunity to develop united revolutionary fight that is already in the fermentation process today.

From 13 August onwards and depending on some of the prioritised steps to be taken, the People's Union of Kurdistan ( KCK ) announced a ceasefire process upon Turkish bourgeois state and government's declaration that they have been engaged in talks with A. Ocalan, the PKK and Kurdish national leader -who is in the Imrali Prison-, and asking from PKK guerrilla forces the ceasefire.
The followings were the primary steps that had been foreseen for the transformation of existing talks to the negotiation process and to the permanent ceasefire: 1) The end of military and political operations in Kurdistan, 2) The release of Kurdish politicians, among them the elected Mayors and local authority officials, 3) "Clearing the way" before the active involvement of PKK leader A. Ocalan within the talking process and taking up the talks to the negotiation process, 4) Establishment of commissions for constitution and truth and reconciliation, 5) to reduce 10% threshold that prevents reflection of Kurdish peoples will to the Parliament...
However, in following six-month's time of the ceasefire, the AKP government have chosen the dissolution and uncertainty path by stringing out the grounds and atmosphere for peace. It has once more shown that it used and will use the ceasefire process to put off, rotten, weaken and liquidate the Kurdish Democratic Freedom Movement.
While continuing the talks with A. Ocalan on the one hand, on the other they did not take any measures to implement primary steps. Moreover they have announced plans for preparation of private army with 50 thousand soldiers and the creation of army for border security; have accelerated the diplomatic talks with US and EU imperialists; have met and engaged in negotiations on various levels with the other colonial forces in the region and the South Kurdistan administration; have released from prison the members of political Islamist Turkish Hezbollah organisation, who were used against Kurdish people before as counteract; have let Kemal Burkay, the former President of PSK, to speak on the bourgeois media against PKK and Kurdish national struggle; and the announcements on the very well known Kurdish singer, S. Perver's engagement in talks with the members of the AKP government... All these have reflected on the serious signals that the colonial regime was after liquidationist policies and plans both politically and militarily.
Having already entered into the election process, the AKP government has established an ostensible commission in the parliament after Saturday Mothers' meeting with the Prime Minister Erdogan to hunt down the votes. But it has continued with its silence and apathy with a great sophistication on the revelation of mass graves in Kurdistan and other parts of Turkey.
The Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan -who declared that the primary mother-tongue education of the immigrant Turkish citizens in Germany should be in Turkish- the AKP government and other regime parties have continued with their racist melody of "One language, one nation, one state" on the demands for Kurdish education or "education in two languages", and the bourgeois courts did not allowed the defence in Kurdish in the KCK case. The political operations have continued in order to prevent Serhildan (uprisings), which is a part of the "revolutionary people's war" tactic and foreseen under the conditions of insistence on the dissolution and uncertainty. And thousands of Kurdish politicians are continued to be kept in prison for months and years.
The isolation practices are still continuing on the A. Ocalan; the talks with the state have not been taken to a negotiation level.
The Turkish State, who is being put forward as "advanced democracy" or "Middle Eastern Model", is consistently avoiding from facing with its own historical realities; to establish Justice and Truth Commission despite to the state crimes committed against Kurdish nation and other minorities such as Armenians, Laz, Greeks, Circassians and etc. in the history and to the reality of dozens of mass graves revealed in Kurdistan. In order to prevent reflection of the progressive opposition in Turkey and the Kurdish people's power-will to the parliament, it is not reducing the 10% threshold.
The KCK, who declared the extension of ceasefire on September 2010 until June 2011 general elections, has now announced that it had to end ceasefire process due to colonial regime's policy of liquidation. The KCK stated that "the AKP government is responsible from the end of the ceasefire process" and called on all revolutionary, progressive and democratic forces in Turkey "to increase struggle for common motherland on the axes of democratic nation where both two nations could live on the basis of equality, freedom and in peace by constitutionally securing the Kurdish people's rights".
The Kurdish freedom movement's withdrawal of its national and democratic demands to the backmost level in order to conduct negotiation did not bring colonial fascist regime's departure from its traditional policies of denial, annihilation and liquidation. On the contrary it has replied with political offensive on the demands for Kurdish education, end of KCK imprisonments and democratic autonomy.
No fascist and reactionary force could stand against the awakening and action of people from the below as seen in Tunisia, Egypt or Libya. And it is this enforcing and pressing encirclement of revolutionary processes that force the political powers to change and give concessions. The Kurdish people in Northern Kurdistan and PKK have overthrown many governments and extract the liquidation of political parties in Turkey through its quarter-century-long guerrilla struggle and uprisings developed with massive participation and in revolutionary militant line as seen in February 2011. Today, together with their level of political and organisational consciousness and already established atmosphere of freedom and happiness, millions of Kurds are in the greatest willpower and self-trust to continue with their fight.
This, the revolutionary way of solution brought about by the revolutionary struggle, is the only way that will force the colonial fascist regime to solution in the Kurdish question. This, the violence of revolutionary willpower and struggle will destroy the historical and traditional policies of the regime and open the way for full equality of nations and languages in Turkey.
