In the 294th week of the Saturday Actions, organised by the IHD and the Saturday Mothers, they showed their protest against the state authorities ignoring their voices with a different form of action. {divide}
The state authorities, which are ignoring the outcries of the Saturday Mothers and who gave to assassinators like Mehmet Agar prison penalties from only 6 month to one year as a bayram gift still close their eyes to the cases of forced disappearances. For this reason, the Saturday Mothers turned their backs on the state in the same way at their 294th action showing their protest.
The relative of a disappeared Hanife Yildiz explained with the following words, why the state is turning its back on those incidents: "Prime Minister Erdogan has nothing to say to the mother of Murat Yildiz, that is why he is turning his back. However, what we want is not a lot. We only want that the assassinators of our children will be found and sentenced. They deprived us of our beloved; at least they should not deprive us of their graves. To which grave can we go also during this bayram?"
Meanwhile protests were expressed in Istanbul by turning the back, the mothers in Amed spoke Kurdish during the whole action protesting against the ban of Kurdish in official institutions.
The common demand of the mothers is that the graves of their disappeared relatives are made public and that the assassinators who made them suffer that much will be found and punished.
