These provocations of the colonial regime, that is insisting on the denial and annihilation policy concerning the Kurdish question and therefore on the non-solution, won't work out. The Kurds are no longer the former Kurdish slaves, they are Kurds that are organised and have a national conscious. The Turkish youth has started to realise more and more the dirty face of this regime, the quarrels of the system parties, the clashes between the army and the government, the gangs, Ergenekon , corruption and the injustices.

The tensed atmosphere that is tried to be created through chauvinist provocation and disposition in the Aegean area of Turkey and the city of Mugla is wanted to be turned into a clash between Turks and Kurds.
Due to the attacks in Mugla realised by the civil-fascist forces supported by the state, dozens of Kurdish youth were injured. Dozens were imprisoned. As a result of the attack at the beginning of May 2010 the Kurdish youth Serzan Kurt was heavily wounded through a police bullet. He lost his life in hospital.
The communist youth declared at Kartal Square, Istanbul, that they would demand an account for the murder of Serzan Kurt. And they realised a march with the slogans "Turks, Kurds, Armenians, long live the people's brotherhood", "Mugla will become a grave for fascism" and "Sehit Namirin". They made a statement saying that these attacks in Mugla continued against the Kurdish youth in Hatay, Izmir, Eskisehir and Maras , that these attacks were organised attacks and that these attacks were started after YOK president Yusuf Ziya Ozcan sent a law to the university rectors titled "action plan against the terrorist activities".
1,000 students gathered in front of the hospital in Izmir in which Serzan Kurt was lying and protested the fascist attacks. On May 20 the Kurdish youth realised a march until the main police station.
In the night of May 18, the MLCP bombed the office of BBP in Istanbul which had taken part in this attack. In the statement published the following was said: "Our target was the BBP that supported the fascist attack organised through the fascist state on Serzan Kurt who was killed in Mugla as well as on the Kurdish youth who faced oppression and detention terror in Balikesir and Izmir. We will attack those who attacked us! We will let them pay a price! The fascists shall know that the attacks realised by them will undoubtedly be answered by our party MLCP!"
The rage on the killing of the Kurdish youth is growing.
It were the Kurdish poor, shopkeepers and youth that were the target of the organised and prepared attacks that happened recently on the DTP convoy in Izmir, of the raids made on the houses of Kurdish students in Demirci, Manisa and of the lynching attempts realised in smaller living areas. The lynch attacks on the Roman minority in Selendi, Manisa, made these people leave their houses. It is the colonial fascist Turkish bourgeois state, the civil-fascist collaborators and paid killers that are responsible for this attack and the tensions that have been realised for a long time in Mugla and the Aegean region. These attacks are neither spontaneous nor a coincidence. On the contrary, the purpose is to make the Kurdish people and youth as well as the revolutionary-democratic forces become the target and to create a Kurdish-Turkish clash. However, in vain! This hasn't worked out for a quarter-century and won't do so.
The Kurdish youth have been turning their faces for quarter-century to the guerilla struggle carried out in Kurdistan. The Turkish youth is developing more and more the tendency to become a consciousness objector or not to go to the army alongside with the fact that the own experiences of the people and the truth were started to be understood.
With this type of provocations and tensions the Turkish youth is wanted to be prepared for the dirty war and made strangers of their own profits. But in vain! One of the heavy results of the world economic crisis' reflection on Turkey is the steady increase of unemployment. Unemployment in Turkey has risen from 20,5% in 2008 to 25,3% in 2009. All over the world and in Turkey every fourth youth is unemployed.
It was the youth in Greece that was the most furious, determined and dynamic forces in the revolt that broke out. The militant line of the anti-fascist youth in Europe continues to have an effect on youth groups and dynamics. The rage and protesting reactions of the suburban youth in France have bursted against the monopoly capital and neoliberal politics.
Under these conditions worldwide and in Turkey it is not a surprise that the colonial fascist regime has started some new dispositions and provocations. The history of this regime is full with this kind of dirty, dark and counter games, disposition and provocations.
These provocations of the colonial regime, that is insisting on the denial and annihilation policy concerning the Kurdish question and therefore on the non-solution, won't work out. The Kurds are no longer the former Kurdish slaves, they are Kurds that are organised and have a national conscious. The Turkish youth has started to realise more and more the dirty face of this regime, the quarrels of the system parties, the clashes between the army and the government, the gangs, Ergenekon, corruption and the injustices. This is why ten thousands of young people gathered at Taxim Square for Mayday, and this is why the commemorations of the revolutionary leaders Mahir Cayan , Deniz Gezmis and Ibrahim Kaypakkaya were joined by more people. The Turkish youth has given the sign that it will walk on the roots of its own revolutionary way and its own history.
Nevertheless, on May 12, 2010 hundreds of young people being part of the Youth Platform for the Brotherhood of the People realised a march at Taxim, Istanbul with the conscious and slogan to demand an account. The following was said in the statement made: "Our comrade (Serzan Kurt) was wounded with a police bullet during an attack again realised through the collaboration of the fascists and state. Before, Aydin Erdem was killed through a police bullet. These are systematic attacks. They haven't remained without any answer so far. And they won't be so." The youth are marching with the conscious to demand an account and will defend its future.
