The trial against the 23 communists who were arrested and imprisoned after the Turkish bourgeois state's police raids on our party MLCP in 8 cities at the same time on September 10, 2006 has continued. 8 communists were released as a result of the hearings so far. In the last hearing on March 26 at the 10th Heavy Penalty Court in Istanbul, three policemen who were involved in the raid on a house in the village Nazilli Ocakli, Aydin, were questioned. The communists held speeches in which they exposed the bourgeois court's double understanding of justice. While the statements of the policemen were all contradicting with each other, the court decided to release Elif Almakca who was behind bars for 3,5 years. The next hearing of this trial was decided to be on July, 29, 2010.
