On the occasion of "November, Martyrs' Month" that has been dedicated to the martyrs of the party and for the revolution, the martyrs that were fallen on the fight for revolution were commemorated through different actions in Turkey / Northern Kurdistan and Europe. {divide}
Ozgur Evrim Gocen, who as the representative member of Ankara Local Committee of the Communist Youth Organisation was killed on May 2, 1995 by the gendarmerie that let is appear like an accident, was commemorated on December 1st at his grave in Balikesir. At the commemoration, his life was described and later on the family of him visited.
The militant of our party MLCP Erdal Balci, who was killed by the police on November 4, 1994 when hanging up a banner at Maltepe Esenkent Bridge, Istanbul, that proclaimed the foundation of our MLCP, was commemorated at the 15th year of his murder at the place where he had been killed. The photos of comrade Erdal were carried at the commemorative act and flowers were laid down at the stairs of the bridge. It was accented that the murderers of comrade Erdal still have not been convicted.
Our party's militants hanged up a banner in Cumhuriyet quarter of Kartal, Istanbul, read "The revolutionary martyrs are alive, the MLCP is continuing to fight" and saluted the revolutionary martyrs.
In Malatya, the revolutionaries visited the graves of the revolutionary martyrs Yucel Hazar, Kalender Isık and Iban Dogan and laid down red carnations. After that, the families of the martyrs were visited.
On November 21, another event was realised in Antwerpen, Belgium, where the communist intellectual comrade Isik Kutlu who has lost her life a short time ago and international revolutionary martyrs were commemorated. At the event, poems were read written by Isik Kutlu and some articles introduces she wrote for the creation of the socialist culture and the revolutionary cadres of new type. In Duisburg, Germany, a commemorational event took place where the lives of Hasan Ocak, Sengul Boran and Kutsiye Bozoklar were described.
The November-Martyrs' Month continues with commemorative actions, visiting the families of the martyrs and discussion meetings and actions on the communist posture and identity within the context of learning from the lives of the martyrs of the party and revolution.
