The trial started against KESK members at the 8th Heavy Penalty Court of Izmir was finished after two days. The 22 imprisoned KESK members were decided to be released. {divide}
The KESK members had been behind bars for 174 days without any evidence proved for the charge. At the hearing the KESK members defended the peace period and their union. The court decided to release them but the members were banned to leave the country.
KESK chairman Sami Evren said that the release of the KESK members is an important step.
