On November 8, an armed clash took place between two communists and the police controlling the streets in the quarter Denizköskler of Avcilar, Istanbul. As a result of the clash, one policeman was injured, and one communist was wounded at his arm while the other one was injured at his leg. It was said that the two communists named Ozkan Gercek and Omer Adiguzel had to wait for a long time on the street until they were then taken by the police to a police station instead of a hospital. At the police station, both of them faced torture before taken to Okmeydani Training and Research Hospital. At the entrance of the hospital, the communists were shouting the slogan "Long live our party MLCP". On November 12, both of them were decided to be imprisoned at Metris Prison charged of being "members of an illegal organisation". After the process of paper work, the communists will be taken to hospital again to have operations.
