Resul ilcin who had been arrested by the police in Idil, Sirnak in Kurdistan because of looking queer lost his life while being arrested. {divide}
Ilcin whose car was stopped by the police was arrested and 16 minutes after he had entered the Police Department, his body was handed over to his family. His head was crushed. Resul Ilcin was among tose who went to welcome the Peace Groups. The governor made a statement on the death of Ilcin saying that Ilcin died because he felt gown and crushed his head. The autopsy, however, showed that Ilcin's head and shoulders had been punched and he had died because of a stroke. Resul Ilcin was buried later on, and the DTP put his death on the agenda of Parliament.
