 The peace group of 34 people that set off from Kandil mountains and Maxmur Camp following the call of the Kurdish national leader Ocalan was releaed after the members had to make a declaration at the border. The peace group members, 8 of them from Kandil mountains and 26 from the Maxmur Camp had to wait throughout the night at the border and were released after their statements and were welcomed enthusiastically by thousands of people. The Peace Group members said that they didn't want to make use of the "Law to go home" and declared that their reason for coming was to contribute to the democratic solution of the Kurdish question and to open the way for the discussions to continue.
The Peace Group set off to Diyarbakir.
