Despite bad weather conditions, thousands became a single heart in the event that was started with a minute of silence for the communist intellectual Kutsiye Bozoklar, whom we had lost in June, in the Open Air Theatre that was adorned with the posters of Marx, Engels, Lenin and Stalin. Banners read "Long lives the woman revolution", "A just and democratic solution in the Kurdish question" and "Socialism will free the world" were hanged up. In the speeches the following was said: "We are celebrating the 15th anniversary of our march under fire started on 10 September 1994, we are entering the 16th year of our struggle by raising our determination and we are about to have new progresses claiming to organise the leading party". It was also said that the Kurdish national resistance has been determinedly opposing fascism for 25 years, and now it is facing the liquidation attack by the regime and hence that we must turn the outcry for peace risen by the Kurdish people into a power among the Turkish people. By that, the importance for a front of peace and liberation was stressed.
Greetings were sent to those working voluntarily for the party, to those fighting for the revolution from the prisons, in the mountains, in the factories and on the field. A large number of greeting messages were sent to the event, too. The international delegates, such as Ahmad Dirki, representative of the Lebanese Communist Party; Paolo Babini from the Party of the Committees to Support Resistance - For Communism (CARC) from Italy; Serguei A. Novikov from the Russian Communist Workers' Party/Revolutionary Communist Party as well as Habip Bakir from the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) went on the stage together to salute the masses. The delegates said in their speeches that they are willing to march together with the Marxist Leninist Communists in the Internationale that will be founded again.
When watching a film, 3500 people shouted the slogans "Long lives our party MLCP", "Women, to the party, the MLCP", "The star of the party, the Communist Youth Organisation", "Disa disa serhildan , MLKP Kurdistan". At the same time MLCP activists having covered their faces realised a march carrying the banner on which it said "In the 15th year glory to the party and the 4th Congress" as well as MLCP flags. Simultaneously "MLCP" was written with torches in their hands.
At the event a message by the MLCP prisoners was also read out. The event continued then with the music band of BEKSAV , the Armenian musician Djivan Gasparyan, the music group Kardes Turkuler and the artist Ferhat Tunc.
