The prisoner Hasan Ozan, who had been arrested and imprisoned in the operations on March 10, informed his family on the fact that Kurdish patriotic and revolutionary prisoners in the T type prison no. 1 of Metris have to face arbitrary treatment. The revolutionary prisoners are held in very tiny solitary cells that are even smaller than the cells of F Type prisons. Ozan who had been imprisoned on the basis of "membership in an illegal organisation" also explained that the period for being at the prison yard was arbitrarily limited to only four hours. The prisoners are not able to send faxes as the prison administrations claims to have no agreement with the Turkish Post. The prisoners are also not provided with the revolutionary press. When they leave their cells for appointments with their advocates, they are forced to take off their shoes in most cases and therefore they have to go to the appointment barefooted.
