Muhabbet Kurt, who had been arrested in 1998 with the claim to be a member of the MLCP, faced torture and rape by the police when being under arrest and who has been imprisoned until today without having been sentenced, was taken yet another time to court on February 6. The 14th Heavy Penalty Court of Istanbul claimed that there is the "suspicion of the prisoner to run off" and rejected again the demands of Kurt to be released as well as inquiries to be started because of the rape under arrest. Kurt's demand to be transferred to the Psychological Trauma Centre of Capa to be able to proof the rape was also rejected by the court. Three other prisoners charged in the course of the same trial were also not released. The court decided the next hearing to take place on May 13, 2009.
