40 more people, among them again police men and soldiers, in 13 different cities were arrested in the 11th wave of operation in the Ergenekon case. It was said that the operations in Ankara, Istanbul, Antalya, Elazig, Igdir, Sirnak, Maras , Hakkari, Tokat, Hatay, Siirt, Isparta and Bursa were carried out against the financial sources of the counter-guerrilla. {divide}Turk Metal Union's president Mustafa Ozbek was said to be arrested because of his financial aid of the counter-guerrilla. The TV channel Avrasya TV drawing attention on itself with programs in favour of Ergenekon and having relations with the racist and fascist Mustafa Ozbek was also among those places searched by the police.
Among those arrested are bosses, soldiers and police men. It was said that those police men arrested have a relation with the former vice president of the Special Operations Department Ibrahim Sahin, who had been arrested during the operation before.
