In a statement made in the name of Genc-Sen, the police terror in Greece as well as in Turkey was protested. The statement also said that this resistance has been the biggest one after the Polytechnic Uprising in Greece and that this revolt at the same time continues the anger against the crisis. The students demanded the cancellation of the PVSK and stated that they will no longer be silent against these murders.
Another action was made by the Theater Yenikapi. On December 16, the actors of the Theatre Yenikapi gathered at the action in front of the Greek Consulate in Izmir. They expressed the following: "Aleksandros Grigopulos is our brother. We call the Greek government to resign. The International is not a forgotten song".
