The representations of the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed ( ESP ) of Amed, Dersim, Antep, Malatya and Sivas made a call for solidarity in their statement published on October 2, on the 39th day of the hunger strike of the Kurdish patriots in the Iranian prisons.
The ESP stated that the inhuman treatments and torture are continuing in the prisons of Iran, that the prisoners are sentenced to death one after the other, that already a PJAK fighter has been executed and 10 more have been sentenced to death. By saying "we, the representations of the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed (ESP) of Kurdistan, salute the resistance of the patriotic prisoners and condemn the inhuman policy of the colonialist Iranian regime. The democratic and humane demands of the prisoners should immediately be accepted, the regime of Iran should immediately stop its policy directed against our people and the prisoners", they underlined in the statement that the hunger strike organised against the repression of the reactionary Iranian regime of the prisoners of the PKK and the PJAK reached its 39th day and that their ongoing resistance against repression, torture and death penalty is legitimate and just.
