In Ankara the members of the ESP and SGD , who had been arrested in the early morning hours of June 23 during house raids, were taken to Ankara Court on June 26. The 7 were imprisoned with the claim "to have made propaganda for an illegal party" and "to be a member of an illegal party" based on the fact that they had opened a banner on Mayday with the pictures of revolutionary martyrs. Among the imprisoned is Yagiz Ozel, president of the SGD of Ankara.
