On the second Sunday of January of every year, ten thousands of communists, revolutionaries, anti-fascists and democrats crowd into the Socialists' Monument Cemetery in Germany's city of Berlin and remember the great leaders of German proletariat, Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht, who were murdered by the German reaction by the help of social democrats on 15 January 1919. The labouring masses have also remembered the great teacher of international proletariat, Lenin, who become immortal on 21 January 1924, in the event organised this year under the slogan "Luxemburg, Liebknecht, Lenin, None of them have been forgotten, Raise and Resist".

Together with the German labourers' revolutionary and progressive parties and organisations, other communist, revolutionary and progressive parties and organisations from Denmark, Iraq, Iran, Palestine, Belgium and Turkey/Northern Kurdistan have also taken their place at this year's event.

MLCP, who has the international tradition of defending the communist and revolutionary leaders of proletariat from other nationalities, this year also, took its' place with a good preparation. MLCP, who carried banners writing "The Communist Leaders of German Proletariat Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht are Immortal", "Another World is Socialism", the placards and pictures of various martyrs from different countries, has drawn attentions by its' enthusiasm and discipline. Most of the people marched under the banner of MLCP were young people. During the march, they have shouted slogans "Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin Viva, Viva, Viva", "Long Live Marxism-Leninism", "End the Occupation of Iraq" and "Fight together with Rosa and Karl against Capitalism" in German and Turkish languages.

The bourgeoisie is very disturbed with thousands of red carnation left in the monument cemetery, flags and slogans that was carried and shouted because they represent an answer to the propaganda of the bourgeoisie saying "socialism is dead". Therefore, the German police every year attempts to provoke and attack the marchers. This year, they tried to attack the anti-fascists who were marching behind the MLCP marchers. But there were something which they did not count. The communists have defended the anti-fascists and resisted against the police. Militants of MLCP have fought against the attacks by making themselves shields to the anti-fascists. They have repulsed the police attack and stop them to detain more anti-fascists. MLCP which was greeted by the anti-fascists have shown the necessary path that should be followed in future anti-fascist and anti-imperialist unities through this practice.
