Fascist attacks on the DTP increase

The attacks against the DTP that increased together with the cross-border aggression of the fascist dictatorship have risen after the clash in Hakkari on October 21.

On October 21 around 200-300 fascists gathered around the office of the DTP in GOP, Istanbul, blockading any entrance to the building and shouting slogans. Fascist groups did the same in front of the DTP office in Bagcilar. In Bahcelievler, around 1000 fascists marched to the DTP office. The fascists hindered by the police continued to wait for long hours in the streets nearby. In Taksim the fascists also organised a march on the Istiklal Street until the DTP office in the region. In the Istanbul borough Fatih, the fascists shot at the local office of the DTP. The fire was put out by the fire brigade.

In Erzurum, a fascist group marched shouting the slogans "Blood for blood, revenge", "We will enter Iraq and chop off your heads" and "Damn the PKK " and broke the windows of the local DTP office.

The local office of the DTP in Elazig was also attacked by fascists starting to throw stones at the building.
In Malatya, the DTP office was surrounded by fascists who had started to march from the city centre to the building. The fascists shot in the air and blockaded any entrance to the building. 9 Kurdish young men were almost lynched by fascists at the Bus Terminal of the city under the pretext that they had watched the news about the soldiers` death and said "They deserved it". While 6 of the Kurdish youth who had been attacked could flee, the other 3 were arrested by the police.

In Adana, fascists shot in the air and injured a child.

In Antalya, the DTP office in the Manavgar province was set on fire.

In Izmir, the windows of the office in the province Buca were broken, an armed attack was carried out against the office in the province Gazi emir and the office in the district Bornova was threatened via phone.
In Bursa, the fascists realised an armed attack against a cafe in the district Kemalpasa. They also attacked the Muhacir Market where the majority of the sales people are Kurdish. On October 22, hundreds of fascists occupied the quarters Fevzidere and Atariye and set the houses of two Kurdish families on fire. The windows of houses and cars of Kurdish people were broken.

In Eskisehir, Ali Saro, student in the second year of the Anadolu University, was attackd by fascists.
In the night of October 22 the DTP office of the province Ayvalik was attacked with molotov cocktails by nationalists. The fire was put out by the fire brigade.

The DTP office in Adiyaman was attacked by nationalists who organised a march on the Golbasi Street with flags of the MHP . They threw stones at the building.

In Ankara, a fascist drove witn his car in front of the local DTP office on October 23 and opened the Turkish flag. He shot in the air and laid down a banner on the floor read "Martyrs do not die, the homeland will not be divided". The fascist also shouted slogans against Barzani and the Kurdish people.
