Meanwhile one year has passed. Until June 2007 the revolutionaries and communists, who have been detained between 8-12 September 2006, have been imprisoned in the dungeons of the fascist dictatorship without even knowing what they are accused of. The aim of the dictatorship was known: to collect "proofs" and "documents". But no matter what kind of "accusing", serious and numerous "proofs" and "documents they ever will collect, anyway the result is absolutely clear from the point of view of the two wills fighting against each other.

In the charge sheet, which was secret so long and contains 292 pages and many apparent "proofs" the prosecution demands 3000 years of prison for the communists.
In the face of the trial coming closer, the protests amount in Turkey and also at the international scale. In Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Antakya, Adana and Bursa meetings took place simultaneously, where it was said that the revolutionaries and communists cannot be convicted. The activities in relation with this issue are continuing.
Many friendly, revolutionary and communist organisations and circles made it known and continue to do so at international level, that the communists cannot be convicted. Many committed, revolutionary and communist persons will come as delegates to Istanbul in order to observe the trial, to be on the side of the prisoners and to show their solidarity.
This trial should be transformed into a stage, where the fascist dictatorship is condemned also internationally.
