Latin America Turkey Cultural Festival has ended

 The America Turkey Cultural Festival, organised in 7 different cities of Turkey and Northern Kurdistan between August 23 and September 10, has ended with an action in the evening of September 10.
With the festival organised by the the Science Education Aesthetic Culture Art Research Foundation ( BEKSAV ) many concerts and panels were realised in Ankara, Bursa, Izmir, Adana, Antakya, Amd and Istanbul at which hundreds of labourers participated. By these actions, the culture of the Latin American people met with the people of Turkey and Northern Kurdistan and in the panels the experiences of the working class` and labourers` struggle in Latin America were discussed. The music groups and representatives of social and political organisations also joined different actions and activities such as a visiting the newspaper AGOS whose editor-in-chief and Armenian intellectual Hrant Dink was killed in January as well as supporting the march to Ankara organised by the labourer officials of the trade union KESK for their labour agreement including the right of strike. The festival raised the slogan of the fraternity of the people against the chauvinist provocations by the Turkish fascist dictatorship and was an important example for international solidarity.
On September 10, a final concert was organised at which songs were sung for comrade Huseyin Demircioglu, martyr of the death fast in 1996; comrade Hasan Ocak who was killed under arrest in 1995 and for all revolutionary martyrs. At the concert September 10 was saluted with marches and Marxists Leninists Communists were also present and shouted the slogans "In its 13th year, hope is standing tall" and "Long live our party MLCP". While the military fascist coup of 12 September 1980 was condemned, murdered Armenian intellectual Hrant Dink was commemorated and chauvinist provocations against the Armenian and Kurdish people protested
