Whilst protests against the massacre of the Yezidi Kurdish people in Sengal of Mosul, Iraq, that happened in the night of August 14 and resulted in the death of 500 people continue, the counter guerrilla organisation called Turkish Revenge Union (TIB) took responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile, claims have risen that the Turkish intelligence is responsible for the attack.
The militia of our party MLKP bombed the Association Ülküm Workers located in the quarter Toros of Izmir and the MHP office in the quarter Cavusoglu in Kartal, Istanbul to protest against the massacre.
The Confederation of the Oppressed Migrants in Europe ( AvEG-Kon ) also made a statement saying that the massacre of the Yezidi Kurds was realised as part of the imperialists' policy to make the people of the Middle East slaughter themselves. The statement stressed that "the only force to stop them is the united and international struggle of the people".
On August 18, 8 thousand Yezidis gathered in the German city Hannover to march against the massacre.
Kongra-Gel president Zübeyir Aydar also made a statement saying that the attack was part of the attacks continuing on the Kurdish people living in Mosul and near by. He called on the Kurdish people for attention.
