 190 workers of Sanovel medicine factory in Silivri have been resisting in front of their factory since June 6 as they had been dismissed for the reason of being members of the trade union
Petrol-İş. The workers demand their re-employment as union members. The factory boss had dismissed four workers on April 4 for their involvement on union activities and later dismissed the 190 workers who showed solidarity with their colleagues. The workers stressed that they will continue with their resistance until they are re-employed as union members.
