2 guerillas of TİKKO became martyrs

 On May 28, Hidir Ugur and Mahmut Polat, two guerillas of the TKP/ML TIKKO, were killed during a gunfight at the village Pasacik in the area around Cemisgezek as part of the operations of the Turkish colonial fascist army in the region Dersim.
The house of the guerillas was surrounded by the police and for 9 hours, the guerillas were resisting and shouting "We did not come here to surrender". They were killed when the soldiers set the house on fire using rockets, bombs, firearms and gas bombs. It was reported said the bodies of the guerillas were completely burned.
The magazine Partizan made a statement after the massacre saying: "All attacks and massacres will not hinder those struggling for a world without classes and exploitation. The struggle against the ruling classes will continue rapidly".
Hidir Ugur was buried on May 29 in the village where he had been killed. Activists of Partizan, HÖC and DHP who came from Dersim to the village to join the funeral were hindered when their cars were stopped.
 It was decided to keep Mahmut Polat`s dead body for 15 days to finally identify him with a DNA test. This decision in fact had the aim to prevent all care about the dead body of Mahmut Polat. As an answer to that, the revolutionary forces made a demonstration on May 30 in the quarter of Gazi in Istanbul to show that they do care.
500 revolutionaries, among them also the ESP and Partizan, marched from the Gazi Cemevi to the house of Polat`s family shouting the slogans "Guerillas do not die, long live the people's struggle" and "The martyrs are alive, the communists are struggling". In the speeches hold it was said that the struggle will continue until the dead body of Polat will be handed over and that there will be a funeral despite the state's attempts to hinder it.
The forces of our party MLCP stopped the traffic with Molotov cocktails on the street no. 3001 in the quarter Umraniye on May 29, saluting the forced disappeared under arrest and the TIKKO guerillas killed. At the action, the slogans "The TIKKO guerillas are immortal", "Hidir Ugur is immortal" and "Mahmut Polat is immortal" were shouted.
