"Justice Ship" by the intellectuals

 Intellectuals, artists, journalists and trade unionists held a press meeting on 7 April in Istanbul and announced that they will carry out symbolic judgements between the dates of 10-13 April about the cases which has not concluded with the fulfilling of the demands for justice. The activity will carry the name "Justice Ship" and it will be carried out at different ports and squares of Istanbul.
Necati Abay, spokesperson of the Solidarity Platform with the Journalists in Prison ( TDGP ), Hasan Saglan, artist, and Rasim Oz, witness of the Massacre of 1 May 1977 and the lawyer of the case, spoke at the press meeting.
Rasim Oz said the following in his statement: "The Massacre of 1 May 1977 that I have been following for 30 years personally, the case about the murder of kemal Turkler that has been continuing for 20 years and the cases about the murder of hundreds of intellectuals and trade union leaders have not been carried into light until now. I have been working as a lawyer for 41 years and the murderers continue to be protected".
Within the framework of the activities of the "Justice Ship", symbolic hearings will be held about the cases of Susurluk and Semdinli on 10 April at the Kadikoy Port, about the cases of the massacres of Gazi , Maras , Sivas and Corum on 11 April at the Bakirkoy Port, about the cases of the murder of many intellectuals on 12 April at the Bostanci Port and about the case of the Massacre of 1 May 1977 at the Besiktas Port. The juries will consist of many intellectuals, trade union leaders, relatives of the disappeared, lawyers and artists and they will travel by ship in the Bosphorus.
