On 4 April, bombs were put at the buildings of BBP, which played a role at the murder of the Armenian intellectual Hrant Dink, in Tuzla/Istanbul and Altindag/Ankara. The bomb at the building in Tuzla was noticed before the explosion and was neutralised by the police, while the bomb in Altindag exploded with a big noise.
Armed Forces of the Poor and Oppressed (FESK) assumed the action through its Statement No: 71. FESK expressed the following in the statement: "The gangs of the fascist state continues with its crimes against our oppressed people. This crowd of criminals, who are the puppets of imperialism, attack the intellectuals, youth, workers, Armenian and Kurdish peoples, democratic and revolutionary organisations today as they did in the past in Sivas, Maras and Corum ." ... "On 4 April, we bombed the buildings of BBP, one of the caves of these fascists, in Tuzla/Istanbul and Altindag/Ankara. We have shown once more that their crimes will not remain without any punishment."
