Attacks against the revolutionary, socialist and Kurdish nationalist press continues increasingly on the basis of TMY (Anti-terror Law). After the penalties of banning against the Newspaper Gundem and against the newspaper Azadiya Welat which is published in Kurdish, the newspaper Guncel has been banned for 15 days only after 10 days since it was founded. The distribution of the newspaper was trying to be hindered in an arbitrary manner beginning from its first edition and by this way, it was tried to be made impossible for it to function. The pretext of banning is the edition dated 30 March where two news carrying the title " HPG (Popular Defence Forces): Seize-fire has become meaningless" and "Isolation against Ocalan goes heavier" have been published.
