Fascists set fire to the office of Egitim-Sen in Sakarya

 In Sakarya, the city which has often come to agenda with the lycnh attempts against Kurdish people and revolutionary there, the office of the teachers' union Egitim-Sen was set on fire on 3 March in the night. The office was destroyed by the attack.
The day after the attack, the General Centre of Egitim-Sen organised an action in Kizilay/Ankara with the participation of 500 labourers to condemn the fascist attack. Alaaddin Dincer, the general president of the union made a speech here, stating that the intellectuals, scientists and democratic organisations have been made the target of racist statements and attacks, that this event was not a simple fire and that there are those who are bothered with the struggle of Egitim-Sen on the base of legitimacy. He demanded that the responsibles of this attack should be found.
On the other hand, 400 labourers from KESK (Confederation of the Public Employees' Unions) and Egitim-Sen gathered in front of the Sakarya Branch of Egitim-Sen to condemn the attack.
