13 immigrant labourers were arrested as a result of the raids against Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Culture Centre and houses on 5 February in France. The office and houses were plundered and various documents and computers were confiscated by the raids.
After the raids, immigrants' organisations condemned the attack by organising a street action in front of Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Culture Centre. Culture Association of the Turkish Immigrant Workers (ACTIT) and the readers of the newspaper Devrimci Demokrasi gave support to the action. The raids were commented by the following words: "The EU countries have targeted the Kurdish people and Kurdish organisations as a result of their economical and political relations with the Turkish state."
