 The terror of raids and imprisonments against Basic Rights Federation, the magazine "Yuruyus" and Association of Solidarity with the Families of Prisoners ( TAYAD ), which took place on the 7th of December, concluded with the imprisonment of 15 revolutionaries.
During the police operations on 7 December in Istanbul, the central offices and the branches in the labourers' districts of these organizations were raided simultaneously. The raids were responded with the united resistance of the revolutionary forces and the clashes with the police had lasted for hours in the labourers' districts.
On 11 December, 28 of the arrested revolutionaries were taken to the 11th Heavy Penal Court in Besiktas and 15 of them were sent to prison.
 During the trial, the revolutionary and democratic organizations including ESP gathered in front of the court in order to give support to the arrested revolutionaries.
The names of the imprisoned members of the Basic Rights Federation are: Hakki Akca, İnan Dogan, Engin Ceber, Ayten Ozturk, Yeliz Kilic, Cem Koyupinar, Erkan Sonmez, Ali Kanat, Yuksel Dogan, Hasan Kocoglu, Gokhan Aktas, Cengiz Karakas, Mustafa Erol, Ali Koyupinar, Ugur Deve.
