The vigils, which have been organised every Saturday in the context of "We Want Freedom" campaign started by the Socialist Platform of the Oppressed on the recent imprisonment of 78 revolutionaries through state terror backed by the TMY (Anti-terror Law), have continued in their 5th week on 11 November. In the actions organised in Istanbul, Bursa, Adana, Ankara, Izmir, Antakya, Malatya and Mersin, the imprisonment of 9 ESP activists and the last practices of the TMY, including the last week's imprisonment of 4 DTP (Democratic Society Party) officials, were denounced. The people participated in the actions shouted the following slogans: "TMY must be abolished", "Our right to speech, action and association cannot be obstructed" and "Down with fascist dictatorship".
