 The political campaign "We want freedom!", which was started by the Socialist Platform of the Opressed ( ESP ) against the attacks of arrestment and imprisonment based on the new Antiterror Law (TMY) in September, continues.
On 24 October, the ESP activists in Ankara organized an action in front of the office of the government party AKP , party of Justice and Development, opening a banner with the slogan "TMY to the wastebasket! We want freedom!". The members of AKP attacked to the action and attempted to lynch the Ankara corresponsal of the newspaper Atilim. 3 activists of ESP and the corresponsal were taken under police custody. They were released soon.
The activists of ESP organized street actions in front of the offices of AKP also in Malatya and Bursa on 24 October in order to protest the TMY, the belicist AKP and the generals.
 A march with torches was organized in the labourers'district Alibeykoy-Guzeltepe in Istanbul on 22 October on the same issue.
The campaign also continues in Adana, Antep, Izmir, Eskisehir and other cities by meetings, sticking posters, visiting the labourers' houses for propaganda and the sales of the newspaper Atilim in the streets.
