The repression of the Turkish State on progressive and revolutionary press is continuing. Evrensel newspaper has been taken to court under the allegation of "insulting republic" because of carrying into its pages the news on the counter-guerrilla organisation which was caught in Semdinli by the people. The representatives of revolutionary and progressive institutions, newspapers and unions have supported the Evrensel newspaper by attending the court on 11 October.
