The terror of raid, arrest and imprisonment which was started on 21 September in nearly 20 cities, including Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Manisa, Antalya, Antep and Diyarbakir, is still continuing.
The Socialist Youth Association in Balikesir was raided by the police on 26 September and Ugur Ok, the president of the association, was imprisoned and sent to Balikesir Closed Prison.
On 27 September, Aycan Yologlu Karaduman and Hulya Kabatas have been taken into custody following a police raid to their house in Izmit. They were released on the same day.
In Izmir, Erdal Demirhan was taken into custody by the Anti-terror Brach teams while walking in Konak. He was imprisoned and taken to the F-Type Prison in Kiriklar.
On 27 September, Ozlem Cihan and Hüseyin Umut Yakar from ESP were taken into police custody and were imprisoned in Istanbul.
On 28 September, Sami Koca was imprisoned and sent to Konya Prison.
On the other hand, whilst the Education Expert of Limter-Is Union, Kamber Saygili, and Serfinaz Gocmez from ESP, both of them were detained after the press meeting in front of the court of Istanbul, have been released, Ali Haydar Keles from ESP has been sent to prison.
Ilker Tatlipinar, Neyfel Avci and Senol Sagaltici who were sent to prison in Antakya were released on 28 September as a result of the objection made of their lawyers. But the same day in Antakya, Pinar Sagaltici and Ali Nazligul, president of the Socialist Youth Association in Hatay were taken into police custody.
