TGDP: The Number of Imprisoned Journalists is 25

Through a new statement on 27 September, the TGDP (Solidarity Platform with the Imprisoned Journalists), stated that the number of imprisoned journalists have rose to 25.
The TGDP noted that the number of imprisoned journalists have now reached 25 with the last imprisonment of Halil Dinc, the News Coordinator of Ozgur Radio, Mehmet Guzel, Antep Representative of Atilim Newspape, Serdal Isik, Diyarbakir Representative of Atilim Newspaper, Ozge Kelekci, Correspondent of Atilim Newspaper and Emin Orhan, writer of Atilim Newspaper, and stated "15 days ago there were 10 journalists in prison, but today their number is 25. This and the imprisonment of nearly 80 revolutionaries and socialists who are opposed to the system are the concrete indications of the TMY terror continuing for 15 days in this land.
The statement, which included a wide list of intellectuals and writers who are supporting with their articles the Atilim Newspaper, also gave the list of the names of 25 journalists in the prisons of Turkey and Northern Kurdistan, their duties and the prison where they have been kept.
