The police operations which were carried out on the 21th of September against many trade-unions and mass organisations, including Limter-Is , Atilim and Ozgur Radio, and the detetion of their workers is also protested by Limter-Is union in the Tuzla Dockyard Area.
The members of Limter-Is union and supporting organisations who came together in the Icmeler Train Station to protest the raids called TMY terror have openned banner "End the TMY terror-Release all detained" and Limter-Is flags. "Detentions and Imprisonments cannot intimidate us", "Limter-Is was not silent and will not be silent", these were the slogans shouted in the action where the press statement was read out by the union's education expert, Kamber Saygili, who is also taken into police custody on 25 September.
The Union's President Cem Dinc and General Secretary Zafer Tektas were taken into police custody as a result of the police raid to Limter-Is on 20 September. During the raid, the police has also seized documents on the decisions of the DISK (Confederation of Revolutionary Workers` Unions) Presidents` Council, 4 video cassettes, 12 diskettes, 1 computer, 2 bottle of cologne, 63 CDs and 3 fax papers.
