Terror of Arrestment and Raid Continues

Following the arrestment of 91 revolutionaries as a result of the synchronic police raid on 21 September in nearly 20 cities, to dozens of houses and organisations, including the Atilim Newspaper, Ozgur Radio, ESP , SGD , EKD , Limter-Is Union, Textile-Sen Union and BEKSAV central offices and branches, the arrests and raids are still continuing.
In Istanbul, Meric Solmaz from ESP was arrested on 22 September and Gunes Senyuz, who went to Taksim/Istanbul in order to participate at the protest action against the state's terror was arrested today.
Bulent Oner, Esra Yangin and three revolutionaries whose names were not learned have been taken into custody after a raid to the Atilim Newspaper office in Mersin in the evening of 22 September.
The police, who closed all roads around the Antep IHD (Human Rights Association), have detained Sinan Tanriverdi from ESP at same evening when he was leaving the association. Another person, whose name was also not learned, has also been taken into custody in Antep.
In Eskisehir, the ESP representative Dursun Armutlu, correspondent of Atilim Newspaper Resul Yilmaz and Sirvan Celik were detained by the police in the evening hours. While Armutlu and Yilmaz are being released, Celik is still kept in the Eskisehir Anti-terror Branch.
Majority of the people who are taken into police custody have not been taken to the court yet, but 7 of them are being sent to prison by the court. The names of the imprisoned revolutionaries and socialist are as follows: Semra Yalcinkaya and Hasan Cosar, writer of Atilim Newspaper, from Ankara, Arzu Onay and Baris Kelleci from SGD in Mugla, Zeliha Yildirim and Murat Uludogan in Manisa, and Ikram Cali from Izmir.
