The Atilim Newspaper, of which its Chief Editor, Chief Coordinator and writers were among the 23 revolutionaries and communists those who have been imprisoned recently, banned for 15 days under the pretext of an article of the new Anti-terror Law. The news that it published on the recent detentions and imprisonments is shown as the reason for banning.
On the other hand, on 14 September, the Atilim Newspaper workers and readers organised mass selling of newspaper in the Kadikoy Iskele Square and Istiklal Street of Istanbul, in order to protest the imprisonment of 23 revolutionaries and to announce that repressions could not intimidate them by shouting: "The hope is still on its feet!"
