The HPG sabotages gas lines

The Popular Defense Forces ( HPG ) have declared that they had organized the explosion on the gas line by which gas is transported from Iran to Turkey.
The explosion took place at the gas line belonging to BOTAS on 20 August at 21.30 o'clock in the evening. A 200-meter-long section of the gas line and 8 million cubic meter gas was destroyed by the fire caused by the explosion. The fire was able to be extinguished only after Iran closed the stop-valves. The Press Communication Center of the HPG made a declaration that the action was carried out by themselves as a warning to the mutual operations of Turkish and Iranian army in the last months.
The Kurdish Guerilla answers the attacks of the Iranian armed forces against the Media Defense Areas which started in coordination with the Turkish state on 15 August, by organizing retaliation attacks. After the conflicts of this week, during which the Iranian army lost 26 soldiers, 5 more Iranian soldiers died in the last retaliation attack of the Kurdish Guerilla on 18 August.
