 The actions against the Israeli and US aggression against Lebanon and Palestine are growing in Turkey and Northern Kurdistan as in everywhere in the world. While different organizations organize actions to call for the huge demonstration in Kadikoy/Istanbul, which will be realized on 20 August by tarde unions and democratic organizations, at the same time, the workers and labourers are called to be in solidarity with the Palestinian and the Lebanese people, by opening stands in the streets against the occupation. The fascist dictatorship's plans of sending troops to Lebanon in the context of the UN resolution is also being the target of the anti-imperialists.
The Coordination against the Occupation in Iraq made a call for the demonstration in Kadikoy with a street action in Taksim/Istanbul on 18 August. The anti-imperialists opposed the plan of sending troops to Lebanon and said: "As revolutionaries, democrats and patriots, we announce once more the fact that we stand at the side of the Palestinian and Lebanese people and against the policy of the collaborationist government".
In Gulsuyu which is one of the workers' districts of Istanbul, ESP , HKM, the magazines Devrimci Durus and Partizan, B DSP and HOC called for struggle against the plan of sending troops to Lebanon through a march where nearly 100 people participated, on 18 August.
On 19 August KESK , IHD , ESP, DHP, SDP , EMEP , DTP , the magazine Isci Muecadelesi, CHKM and the magazine Alinteri realized a manifestation in front of the entrance of the military base Incirlik in Adana. There it was communicated that a weapon supply of 37 trucks was sent from the Incirlik Military Base and Mersin/Tasucu Port to Israil on 8 and 9 August with the permission of the general staff. It was demanded that the state should call off its Ambassador in Israel and break all economic and political relations off with Israel. The antiimperialists said that the "Peace Force" was in reality an occupation force and they called for struggle against the plan of sending troops to Lebanon and against the military bases of NATO and USA.
The Platform of Ankara against Imperialism and Zionism protested the plan of the Turkish state of sending troops to Lebanon with a march with torches on 18 August.
