Fascist general and chief of the general staff Yasar Buyukanit had two aims in his mind when he visited the USA in February: The first one was to stress that in national questions the army must be consulted before the government. On the other hand, in return for the country's servitude to the USA, Buyukanit wanted to get the support in the Kurdish question planned by him. With this trip, the army wanted to show that it is not going to leave Turkey's foreign policy to the government. When talking about the USA's policy in the Middle East, Turkey offered the following support: full support of the occupation in Iraq, which the country did not show from the beginning; availability of using all military bases and harbors; offering all possibilities of opportunities and support in case of an occupation of Iran by the USA; and support of Israel in its fight against the resistance of the people in Palestine and Lebanon. In return for that, Turkey demanded USA's permission to penetrate into South Kurdistan with the aim to destroy the PKK 's military forces.
However, the Turkish army represented by Buyukanit did not fully achieve its aims. Although when the eagerness of Buyukanit, who did not get the permission to intervene in South Kurdistan, was stopped, he will not give up and tries to hold this point on the agenda by continuing to threat attacking South Kurdistan.
The existence of the Kurdish federal administration has created fear and also a reaction of Turkish colonial fascism. The colonialism, which remained silent when during Saddam's reign together with other Iraqi people the Turkmen had been oppressed in Kirkuk, too, now defends its rile as the "spokesman" of the Turkmen people as new interests are on the agenda and aims at making Kirkuk get out of the control of the new formation in South Kurdistan. Whilst the USA has still not given the permission for a cross-border operation, it guaranteed the operations towards the "financial sources" of the PKK lead by European states in their own countries and by that; continued with its tactics of protracting.
In order to legitimate a potential operation in South Kurdistan, Turkish colonialism digging out the 2 months old words of Barzani "If Turkey intervenes in Kirkuk, then we will intervene in Diyarbakir" out of his archive and using them as a pretext for his threats and aggression.
While the discussions on cross-border operations are continuing, the operations in North Kurdistan continue, too, despite the ceasefire period the PKK had declared. The Turkish army's victims have been used by the bourgeois media, which broadcasted the military ceremonies by pushing them up, for fomenting chauvinism.
On the other hand, the arrest and detentions terror and the oppression of the Kurdish press, its organizations and the DTP continue to the full extent.
This policy has been mentioned openly and with clear phrases in the decisions of the National Security Council's meeting and in the press meeting of Buyukanit on April 12. The answer given to the ceasefire, which due to the announcement of the PKK will last until May, was that "the fight against terrorism will be continued with great determination". In addition, it was mentioned that on colonialism's agenda will next include the continuation of the operations in Northern Kurdistan, the oppression of the "militia forces" in the cities and small cities and an intervention into South Kurdistan with decisive military coups. The expression "oppression of the militia forces in the cities and small cities" has reminded of the dirty war concept from 1993. In West Turkey, the culmination of the chauvinist hysteria through military ceremonies and different provocations and giving Turkish labourer masses a tow for the continuation of the policy of denying and extinction are in the same context on the agenda. The aim is to realize this concept step by step, which targets to break the will of the Kurdish national movement and the communist and revolutionary movement. From the attacks on the communist vanguard in September to the assassination of Hrant Dink, closing down the newspapers Gündem and Azadiya Welat, the police attacks on revolutionaries and communists on April 13 in Istanbul-Besiktas and the brutal massacre of non-Christians in a publishing house in Malatya are all parts of this concept.
In the analysis of the current period, the Marxists Leninists Communists show that it is possible to abort the fascist concept through the determined and united struggle of revolutionaries and anti-fascists and lead a determined and intensive struggle for the realization. We will abort this concept with a struggle completed through political and military means of struggle.
