The colonialist fascist dictatorship has started an intense detention and imprisonment attack towards our party since the 8th of September. The Head of Istanbul and the Chief of the Police announced that they have realized the biggest "arrestment operation" of the last years, under the yells for victory. They have announced many revolutionaries who are related or not related to our party, publicly known journalists and publishers as "terrorists", and imprisoned them. On 12 and 16 September, in total, 23 revolutionaries were imprisoned. They waged an intense psychological war by saying that they have "ruined completely" the MLCP.

It seems that they are not quite sure about having "completely ruined" MLCP, therefore, they have detained more than 120 revolutionaries and communists as a result of the new wave of attack which began on the 21st of September.

The bourgeoisie realizes one of its intense attacks that is seen very rarely in the history. It is an attack which was seen in the period of the fascist coups on 12 March 1971 and on 12 September 1980. They have got the list of the people that was prepared beforehand, and the detentions are being carried out through planned raids all over the country. The fascist dictatorship's security forces are out for hunting revolutionaries and communists almost in all cities of Turkey and Northern Kurdistan: On the 21st of September, the Atilim Newspaper's central office and branches in many cities, ESP 's (Socialist Platform of the Oppressed) offices in Istanbul and many other cities, the offices of Socialist Youth Association ( SGD ) in various cities, the Limter-Is and Tekstil-Sen Unions, Labourer Women's Association ( EKD ), neighbourhood associations, BEKSAV , the local offices and cultural centres of the Art and Life magazine, Ozgur Radio and the houses of those who work for these organizations and of those who visit them have been raided synchronically throughout Turkey and Northern Kurdistan. More than 50 organizations and houses were raided in more than 20 cities (Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Eskisehir, Adana, Kayseri, Sivas, Antep, Mersin, Antalya, Mugla, Denizli, Iskendurun, Izmit, Antakya, Diyarbakir, Malatya, Manisa, Canakkale, Rize/Findikli, Balikesir and Hopa). 120 revolutionaries and socialists were taken into custody, including the presidents and officials of trade unions and the presidents of associations. Many computers, hundreds of cassettes, CDs, books, mobile phones and phone books were seized by the police. 45 revolutionaries were imprisoned. Arrestments, raids and imprisonments continue.

You are not strong enough to defeat us...

We know you very well. We know what you can do and what you are made of. You are neither democrat nor human. There are repression, intimidation, torture and massacre in your cements. You are fascist, torturer, assassin, lyncher and manservant.

You thought that you could finish "the job" by killing 15 communists in the Black Sea[1].

We were wounded seriously, but we carried on our way together with "Suphi on one side of us and Nejat in the other..." [2].

You thought that you could put in silence and surrender the ones with different point of views, revolutionaries, communists and the Kurdish people through your Maintenance of Order Law[3] and Independent Courts[4].

It did not work. You failed to put in silence, you failed to take surrender... You couldn't prevent the blow of tens of Kurdish uprisings... Your aim was to create a "silence of the death" in the country. You failed to create it. But you proved that you are "superior" in the massacre and torture.

We continued on our way...

You thought that you would frighten us when massacring the workers who were fighting for their rights in Kavel, and that we will never dare to struggle for rights. But you were wrong again[5].

You thought that you could darken the horizons of the youth for independence and prevent their fusion with the working class and labourer masses by chaining them. You organised coups...You were able to kill Mahir, Deniz and Ibo with bombs, gallows and torture. [6] But the Anatolian land has given birth to ten thousands of Mahir, Deniz and Ibo. You couldn't prevent the social and national liberation struggle of the working class, labourer masses and the Kurdish people. You were only strong enough to organise a coup. [7] You put ten thousands into dungeons and tortured them. You set up gallows again. You were able only to shoot people on the streets, to kill them in torture and to hang them. You showed how "superior" you are in the cruelty and in the profession of torture.

The war between us, at the same time, is a war of the wills. You tried to break our will by every means and methods, but it did not work! You did not succeed and will never succeed.

10 September 1920 and 10 September 1994 represent an announcement of will. Were you able to prevent the foundation of TKP (Communist Party of Turkey) on 10 September 1920 and the foundation of MLCP on 10 September 1994? You were not.

Struggle for revolution is a long march and a war between wills. It needs breathe. The path is not straight, it is full of obstacles. You may fall down. But what is important is to get up and continue. Were you able to keep us on the ground and to obstruct our march forward?

Erdal Balci, Hasan Ocak, Ali Karahan, Hasan Albayrak, Suleyman Yeter, Tuncay Yildirim, Hasan Arslan, Abuzer Cat, Ozkan Tekin, Ahmet Metin Koyuncu, Huseyin Kayacu, Ali Bugun, Huseyin Demircioglu, Sengul Boran, Erkut Direkci, Ozgur Evrim Gocen, Aynur Karaman, Zeynel Yesil, Ali Haydar Gocer... Were you able to defeat these revolutionary wills?

You were frightened from us in Gazi ...[8] In Sultanbeyli we broke your will to "defeat us" [9]. We defeated you there.

...Later, wasn't the balloon blown up in your hands in 1997 while you were saying that you ruined us? [10] It is going to be the same today also and your balloon, aired with "we ruined them", is going to blow up in hands.

You can't defeat us...

It is us who represent the new and the future. You are representing the past. It is the dustbin of history where you belong to, and we are going to sent you there...

Your cement is only made of repression, plunder, exploitation, torture and massacre. You are helpless and weak. You can't exist without a master. You are manservant. You are honourless. You can't do anything without the permission of your master. You would be put on sack to your head, but still say "master".

MLCP is a programme, a power that enlightens the way for the future. MLCP is the working class, labouring masses, youth, and the Kurdish people. MLCP is anti-fascism and anti-imperialism. MLCP is the socialist teaching, revolutionary action and practice. MLCP is socialism and communism.

We are the freedom, democracy, liberation, socialism and communism. Whatever our national origins are, we are the working class and labourer masses. We are their vanguard, voice and will. We are the sole force that can establish a system without exploitation and repression in this geography. So, this is your fear. You think that you can prevent us from organising the working class and labouring masses, can return the wheel of the history and can stop the flow of the history.

MLCP was founded under fire and gunpowder. Your repressions, detentions and imprisonments are all in vain.

The revolution can be realized by marching under the fire. And MLCP marches under the fire. You will never be able to stop MLCP and the victory of revolution.

1. 15 communists, who came under the leadership of Mustafa Suphi and with the knowledge of Mustafa Kemal, to participate in the Turkish National Liberation struggle, were forced to go to Trabzon after being welcomed with a ceremony in Kars, through a coded order received by Kazim Karabekir. Later, the President of TKP, Mustafa Suphi and his fourteen comrades were killed altogether in Black Sea on the night of 28-29 January 1921.

2. Mustafa Suphi and Ethem Nejat, the leaders of TKP, were killed in the Black Sea.

3. The law put in force by Kemalists in order to suppress the Kurdish uprising and the opposition in 1925.

4. The courts which were established after 1920 at first to punish the ones who were opposed to the liberation struggle, than the ones opposing the new state under the leadership of Kemalist bourgeoisie.

5. On 13 February 1963, the police wanted to take out from the factory the workers in order to break the Kavel resistance that was organised in a period when the industrial action and collective contract were still not legal. The Kavel workers repulsed the attack with the solidarity of their spouses, relatives and the other workers. After 27 February, all workers were sent to court. Some of them were imprisoned. But the Kavel workers won despite all attacks. It was once more proven that the way of victory passes from the resistance by increasing class solidarity against all sorts of attacks. The Kavel strike played an important role in the adoption of first "law on the collective agreement, strike and lockout" (No 275).

6. In the Kizildere village of Niksar, Mahir Cayan (THKP/C leader) and his comrades have become martyrs as a result of gun fight with the army forces who surrounded their house on 30 March 1972. They created a tradition of resistance and not surrendering in our revolutionary history. Deniz Gezmis ( THKO leader), Huseyin Inan and Yusuf Arslan were hanged on 6 May 1972. TKP/ML leader, Ibrahim Kaypakkaya was killed under torture on 18 May 1973.

7. 12 September 1980 military fascist coup.

8. The uprising took place in Gaziosmanpasa Neighbourhood of Istanbul in 1995 and spread into the other districts. Our party also were there as leading force.

9. On 14 March 1996, the Party detachments attacked synchronically to the administration office, headquarters of the police, town hall and MHP (Nationalist Action Party) in Sultanbeyli district of Istanbul. In the raid, where bazookas, bixis (big machine guns) and bombs were used, the state buildings were kept under intense fire for long time. The buildings were damaged and the policemen ran away. The district was totally controlled by the detachments for short period of time.
