The dissolution of the revisionist camp and social imperialist Soviet Union has influenced national and international relations deeply. The world of two poles was replaced by a world of many competition centres. US imperialism began to occupy other countries in order to establish its world hegemony in the 21st century. Contradictions between imperialist countries and imperialist competition centres (USA, EU, Russia, China and Japan) have aggravated. The idea of the "social state", which is also based on capitalist exploitation and plundering, no longer fulfilled the expectations of the monopoly capital concerning the international movement and organisation of capital and therefore it was replaced by neoliberalism. In the last 10-15 years imperialism has been plundering the world's resources with neoliberal attacks under the name of "globalization".

The dissolution of the revisionist camp, the Soviet modern revisionism and in addition to that, the anticommunist propaganda carried out in a concentrated manner led to a temporary hopelessness of the masses of workers and labourers whose future is socialism. The international protest movement, which came into being and developed right at that time, has shown itself as an alternative to imperialist globalization and neoliberalism and it keeps on struggling in this direction.

The international protest movement goes on organizing itself worldwide, in continents, regions and countries. The reformists are breaking the record of organizing forums by organizing Social Forums in this or that continent, region and country. Reformism is determined to seize the world's working class and the masses of labourers and to re-integrate them into the system. And so, reformism is presented as an alternative to millions of masses of workers and labourers worldwide. It says: Follow us, listen to us and join us, this is the only way that leads to your freedom. So, reformism and pacifism are shown to us as the alternative to imperialist globalization and neoliberal politics. However, these forums only pay attention to the results and "excessiveness" of imperialist globalization and do not judge the capitalist system.

All over the world masses of workers and labourers continue to fight against imperialist globalization, neoliberal attacks, imperialist wars, occupation, oppression, exploitation and plundering. At some places there have been splendid protests joined by masses. This is how they show their wish and will to struggle against imperialism. And indeed, they give us the message that they are ready to be organized. The workers' and labourers' situation shows us that they are looking for an alternative. Nowadays reformists are filling this lack whilst communist parties and organizations have not yet been successful in practice to assert themselves as alternative. The weakness of the international communist movement and its lack of being unorganized at international level form a strong basis for ideas that do not go beyond the capitalist system.

For these ideas, which are reducing the criticism of capitalism to the deregulation of the markets, the movement of speculative capital, so, to put it in a nutshell, to the `excessiveness` of imperialist globalization, or to the greed of this or that monopoly, or which reduce imperialist wars and the occupation of other countries to being the result of the "bad intention" of any state officials, and which are propagating that a result can be achieved by struggling against this phenomenons of "globalization", the alternative is the "social state". Thus, the alternative used as a pretext is nothing else than struggling for "democratic" capitalism.

The slogan "Another world is possible" which keeps on running will probably change to "Another America is possible" or "Another Latin America is necessary" at the American Social Forum as the slogan "Another world is possible" was changed to "Another Europe is necessary" at the European Social Forum. The reformists will try to decide how another America or Latin America will look like, but they are going to be wrong. Latin America is one of the regions where revolution against imperialism and local collaborators is seething. Revolutionary and counter-revolutionary forces are face to face in many countries of that continent. The proletarians and masses of labourers of this continent are conscious enough in order to decide about their own future. They are aware of e.g. the struggle against FTAA and WTO being a revolutionary fight that goes beyond the borders of reformism.

The only alternative is socialism. Doubtlessly, communists can not refuse the struggle for demo-cracy and peace. On the contrary, they take their place within that struggle and try to change it to a fight against the system. We know that even the most democratic bourgeois system is based on exploitation and plundering other countries. We also know that real peace can not be achieved within the bourgeois system. Therefore, ideas that do not go beyond the bourgeoisie are reformist ideas and can not be an alternative for the working class and masses of labourers.

The source of the issues discussed at all Social Forums is capitalism. So, the fight must be di-rected against this system; a fight carried out in order to destroy the capitalist system and to build socialism. Communists have the duty to change the spontaneous struggle of millions of labourers into a conscious class struggle.

The international communist movement has to overcome its own difficulties in order to be able to fulfil its historic mission; to mobilize the working class and the masses of labourers to destroy the capitalist world system and to build socialism.

National and international actions of the working class as well as the fight of the working class and the masses of labourers against imperialism, "globalization", neoliberal attacks, wars, the danger of war and the occupation of other countries show that the revolutionary wave is rising strongly worldwide. It is the communist parties` duty to raise this spontaneous fight to class conscious fights and to direct it against the capitalist system and for socialism. In order to serve this duty of them, the international communist movement has to overcome its ideological and organizational crisis and to discuss some theoretical issues in the light of today's conditions.

Our party MLCP acts with the consciousness and perspective of this duty and proves that with its practice. By joining Social Forums and international mass protests against im-perialist summits and wars we are shouting that the only alternative against capitalism, imperialism and imperialist wars is socialism.
